Prof. Esther Yeboah Danso 

Board Chairperson

Prof Esther Yeboah Danso‑Wiredu is the first substantive female Pro‑Vice‑Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), officially inducted in June 2025. She holds a PhD in Geography (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven), an MPhil in Social Change (NTNU, Norway), and a Post‑Graduate Diploma in Higher Education from UEW. As former Director of Research, Innovation & Development, she has led grant‑winning projects on urban geography, gender, environment, and housing. Known for her mentorship and inclusive leadership, she champions academic excellence, integrity, and unity across the UEW community .
